One of the key features of Matter is the Multi-Admin Control, which allows you to control devices using multiple smart home systems simultaneously. For example, you can turn on a BR30 bulb with Google Home and turn it off with Alexa. Matter also enables seamless Device-to-Device Communication, allowing devices from various brands to integrate seamlessly and create multi-device actions that were previously incompatible.

Device List for Matter Control

A Matter-certified controller (such as HomePod, Echo, Nest, or SmartThings Hub) is required to control Matter bulbs in platforms like Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, or SmartThings. Alternatively, you can control the bulbs directly through the AiDot app without the need for a separate hub. To troubleshoot setup issues, follow these tips:

1. Enable IPv6 Internet connection
2. Ensure both your phone and Matter hub are connected to a stable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
3. Update the firmware of your Matter hub and Smart Home app to support Matter
4. Obtain a new setup code if the Matter-enabled device is already added to another ecosystem
5. Activate Matter setup mode within 15 minutes after powering on the device
6. If issues persist, try a factory reset or use another smartphone for configuration
7. If direct connection to third-party apps is not possible, try downloading the AiDot app and connect through skills.
